For sea kayakers, Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the best paddling destinations in North America. It offers over 17,000 km (10,000 mi) of rip sawed coastline of sheltered harbours, deep fjords, and huge bays and offshore islands. The waters are pristine, whales, and seabirds are in abundance, and massive Greenland icebergs drift southward to our shores every spring. For canoeists, the interior of Newfoundland and Labrador is still very wild and virtually undeveloped. There are 34,030 km˛ (13,139 mi˛) of freshwater rivers, lakes, and streams and it is the wild rivers that are the corridors through which you access much of the wilderness interior. Join these experienced operators for your next paddling adventure.
